Full-Time Ultrasound Technologist position located east of Gallup, New Mexico. The role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures across multiple specialties while ensuring patient safety and accurate imaging results. The technologist will work in a supportive clinical environment and collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and breast imaging
Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings for optimal image quality
Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to physicians
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Follow all safety protocols and infection control standards
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure quality care
Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) required
ARRT (Sonography) certification accepted if applicable
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Experience in obstetric, general, vascular, and breast ultrasound
Skills:
Minimum of 1-2 years of recent ultrasound experience preferred
You hold RDMS certification and BLS certification. You have experience with abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, breast imaging. You can operate ultrasound equipment and maintain accurate records
