Franklin & Marshall College seeks a full‑time Transfer Admission Counselor to join its Admission team at the campus in Lancaster, PA.

Starting salary of $43,888.00
- Oversee transfer students throughout the recruitment and enrollment cycle, cultivating a personalized and proactive approach at every stage (inquiry, application review, credit evaluation, deposit, arrival).
- Collaborate with admission staff and the Communications team on inquiry development, nurturing, and application‑generation campaigns targeted to transfer students; contribute to annual communication updates and ad‑hoc messaging.
- Work with the digital media team to optimize the college website and other online assets for transfer recruitment.
- Partner with the Director of the Admission Visit Experience and the Lombardo Welcome Center Manager on on‑campus, off‑campus, and virtual events for transfer prospects.
- Coordinate with academic, student affairs, and other internal stakeholders to advance a transfer‑friendly culture, a seamless credit‑review process, and an effective onboarding and orientation experience.
- Develop and manage partnerships with nearby community colleges, building productive relationships with community‑college advisors.
- Represent the college at transfer college fairs and deliver presentations to classes, clubs, or community‑college audiences as needed.
- Collaborate with the Director of Recruitment to generate transfer strategies and priorities aligned with institutional enrollment objectives.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Knowledge of national student markets and mobility trends, and the ability to use data to assess, evaluate, and validate decisions.
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Gmail, Sheets, Slides, Drive).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate persuasively to large groups.
- Outstanding customer‑service skills.
- Availability for travel and occasional evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Successful completion of background checks.
- Experience working with minors (non‑F&M students under 18) is required; see the provided link for protection of minors policies.
- Experience with Technolutions Slate.
- Experience recruiting transfer students for a liberal‑arts college.
