New Mexico or compact LPN license required. BLS certification. Two years of experience required.

LPNs are often the frontline caregivers, focusing on direct patient care for stable patients with predictable outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring patient health by regularly checking and recording vital signs and observing patients for any changes in physical or mental condition.
• Assisting patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, and personal hygiene.
• Administering most types of medications and immunizations, following the five rights of administration.
• Performing basic and some specialized wound care procedures.
• Performing clinical procedures like inserting urinary catheters and collecting specimens.
