Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week temp-to-perm assignment in East of Gallup, NM. The role supports surgical teams by coordinating patient care, ensuring sterility, and monitoring vital signs throughout procedures. Compensation up to $2,850 per week (up to $60/hr) with potential for permanent placement.
Key Responsibilities:Coordinate patient care throughout the surgical process as a Circulator RN
Prepare the OR by ensuring equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and sterile
Assist surgical teams while maintaining a sterile environment
Monitor patients' vital signs and condition throughout surgery and report changes
Advocate for patient safety, dignity, and comfort
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia staff, scrub techs, and other team members
Active Registered Nurse license in New Mexico or compact license
AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
CNOR certification a plus
Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred)
Minimum 1 year of recent OR circulator experience required
You hold an active NM RN license and BLS/ACLS. You have at least one year recent OR circulator experience. You can coordinate patient care and maintain sterile OR environment
