Full-Time OR Circulator Registered Nurse
The Full-Time OR Circulator Registered Nurse provides perioperative care and ensures patient safety during surgical procedures. This role supports the surgical team by maintaining a sterile environment and coordinating patient care before, during, and after surgery. The position is located in Grants, New Mexico, offering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with surgical team members and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care
- Prepare the operating room with appropriate instruments, supplies, and equipment
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures
- Maintain aseptic and sterile techniques
- Document all nursing activities accurately in patient records
- Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and postoperative care
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety regulations, and infection control policies
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – New Mexico or Compact State License
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required
- 1+ year of recent OR Circulating experience required
Skills:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification preferred
- CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) Certification preferred
