Full-Time Or Circulator Registered Nurse
The Full-Time OR Circulator Registered Nurse provides perioperative nursing care, ensuring patient safety and supporting the surgical team in a sterile operating environment. Based in East of Gallup, NM, the role offers opportunities for growth in a supportive healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with surgical team members and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care
- Prepare the operating room with appropriate instruments, supplies, and equipment
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures
- Maintain aseptic and sterile techniques
- Document all nursing activities accurately in patient records
- Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and postoperative care
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety regulations, and infection control policies
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – New Mexico or Compact State License
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- 1+ year of recent OR Circulating experience required
Skills:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification preferred
