Full Time Emergency Room Registered Nurse
The Full Time Emergency Room Registered Nurse delivers rapid, high-quality care to patients with urgent and life-threatening conditions in a busy ER setting. This role requires critical thinking, fast decision-making, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The position offers competitive compensation and a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a busy Emergency Department
- Perform rapid patient assessments and triage based on acuity
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Document patient care accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards
- Educate patients and families regarding treatments, procedures, and discharge instructions
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety guidelines, and emergency protocols
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Mexico or compact license
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
