Emergency Room Registered Nurse
Full Time Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides rapid, high-quality care to patients with urgent, emergent, and life-threatening conditions. The role demands critical thinking and teamwork in a fast-paced emergency department.
Key Responsibilities:Provide direct nursing care to patients in a busy Emergency Department
Perform rapid patient assessments and triage based on acuity
Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments per physician orders
Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Document patient care accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards
Educate patients and families regarding treatments, procedures, and discharge instructions
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety guidelines, and emergency protocols
Qualifications:Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or compact license
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
PreferredSkills:
TNCC certification
