Dialysis Nurse

Are you an experienced dialysis nurse looking for a position where you can provide meaningful care, build lasting patient relationships, and become part of a supportive clinical team? We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join a well-established outpatient dialysis center in Gallup, New Mexico.

Unlike many fast-paced nursing environments, outpatient dialysis gives you the opportunity to care for a consistent group of patients and see the impact of your work over time. You’ll play an essential role in helping individuals with end-stage renal disease safely manage their treatments while receiving the education, encouragement, and personalized care they need.

What You’ll Do

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care throughout hemodialysis treatments
• Complete pre-, intra-, and post-treatment patient assessments
• Monitor vital signs, vascular access, treatment response, and changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and follow individualized treatment plans
• Quickly recognize and respond to dialysis-related complications
• Educate patients and families about treatment, medications, diet, and ongoing renal care
• Collaborate closely with nephrologists, patient care technicians, dietitians, social workers, and clinical leadership
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold infection-control, safety, and quality standards
• Help create a welcoming, respectful, and reassuring experience for every patient

What We’re Looking For

• Active New Mexico RN license or eligibility to obtain one
• At least one year of dialysis nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking abilities
• Knowledge of hemodialysis treatments and vascular-access monitoring
• A dependable, team-oriented nurse who is committed to excellent patient care
