This full-time Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse position is located in East of Gallup, NM. The nurse delivers comprehensive care to mothers and newborns, supports the medical team, and ensures high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor and delivery process
Monitor maternal and fetal health, administer medications, and assist with pain management
Support physicians and midwives during deliveries and surgical procedures when necessary
Educate and support patients and families on the birthing process and postnatal care
Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation
Respond to emergency situations with professionalism and clinical expertise
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Valid RN license in the state of New Mexico
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
Skills:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
You hold a valid NM RN license and BLS certification. You have at least two years L&D experience with NRP. You excel in patient education, teamwork, and emergency response
