Cashier Position

Cashiers provide customers with fast and friendly service while ensuring accuracy at the sales counter. Cashiers scan items, ensure that prices and quantities are correct, and collect payments.

• Operate all checking equipment, count money and make change accurately
• Operate tools and equipment safely
• Perform general stocking duties
• Perform general cleaning duties
• Comply with Loss Prevention guidelines
• Greet and talk politely with customers
• Help and assist customers in finding merchandise and providing information
• Comply with supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits, and attitude
• Function as a team member and get along with others
• Adhere to daily work schedule
• Work weekends, any shift, holidays, and overtime as needed
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Perform other duties as needed and assigned

• Grasping, bending, twisting, squatting
• Move, lift (minimum height of 4' on a regular basis), and carry a minimum of 50lbs
• Walk, stand, climb ladders, be on feet the entire shift
• Push/pull a heavily loaded pallet with a manual pallet jack
• Push/pull a loaded stock cart

A high school diploma or equivalent preferred

1+ years of retail cashier experience preferred

Minimum age 18

Navajo speaking preferred
