Field Service Technician - Level 1

Job Description Summary

Road Mechanic – Join our team to work on a variety of makes, models, and equipment in challenging remote locations, develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management, and work with an incredible team in a safety‑focused environment.

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose, and advanced repairs at customers’ locations to avoid downtime.
• Work on a fleet that includes aerial work platforms, general construction tools, large‑scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment.
• Adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced, on‑site environment.

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–2 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment (generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil & gas).
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; CDL may be required in some locations.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems with troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Ability to use mechanic’s tools of trade as needed.
• Optional:
  Bilingual (Spanish or other language) may be required based on location.
• Physical ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, lift 50 lbs or more and work indoors/outdoors.

$21.38 – $29.39 per hour (starting rate may vary based on location, education, training, and experience).
