Job Title

Driver Assistant – Gallup Coca-Cola, Gallup, NM 87301 (Road Warrior, 100% travel)

Assist drivers with delivery and merchandising of Coca‑Cola products to ensure excellent customer service.

• Provide excellent customer service by supporting retail partners, delivery customers, and internal teams in a positive, efficient, professional manner.
• Interact with store personnel and customers professionally, using clear, respectful communication to influence outcomes and ensure satisfaction.
• Adapt to changing routes, schedules, and customer needs.
• Follow safety guidelines and federal/state DOT regulations.

• Drive with assigned driver to customer locations on daily routes, delivering to all stores safely and efficiently.
• Verify orders and invoices with customers.
• Unload merchandise, rotate products, and build displays according to company standards.
• Maintain back rooms by organizing and consolidating stock in a safe, accessible manner.

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with store receivers.
• Build rapport and trust with back‑room personnel by actively listening, responding, and addressing needs.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding any daily route support needed.

• Follow all safety procedures throughout the day.
• Very active role requiring constant standing, walking, pushing, and pulling.
• Lift and carry up to 60 lbs. repetitively; reach and lift above shoulders and below waist.
• Operate electric pallet jacks and maneuver pallets weighing up to 1,200 lbs.
• Push/pull fully loaded carts weighing up to 1,000 lbs. on slopes up to 20%.
• Perform frequent twisting, grasping, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
• Prepare to work in varied weather (sun, rain, snow, heat, cold).

• Work hours:
  
  four days a week, 10 hours per day (average 45‑hour week); start times vary by route.
• Bulk loads: 4:00am until route completion; side loads: 7:00am until route completion.
• Weekend and holiday work as directed by business needs.
• Must obtain CDL A within one year of hire.

• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• No major traffic violations and no more than two minor violations in the past three years.
• Reliable team player with consistent attendance.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to manage a field-based schedule with minimal supervision.
• Maintain professional appearance to uphold the company dress code policy.
