Job Summary
Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick‑up of packages; checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex features of service; provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.
Full‑time 4×10 position with day off TBD.
Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or GED.
Minimum ExperienceNone.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance from another person.
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
- Effectively communicate verbally in a time‑sensitive manner in a noisy operations environment.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
Non‑covered safety‑sensitive position. Medical exam required. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned and maintain a neat appearance as customer contact is required. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
Preferred QualificationsMinimum of 21 years of age, consistently lift 50 pounds, High School / GED Diploma, Valid Driver’s License consistently for the past two years, must successfully complete a Federal Drug screen and background check.
PayStarting Pay: $22.30.
