Looking for a school-based Special Education Teacher role with steady hours and competitive pay? We're hiring a full-time RSP Special Education Teacher in Galt, CA, to support students in a Mild/Moderate Resource Specialist Program (RSP) setting.

This opportunity is ideal for Special Education Teachers, RSP Teachers, Education Specialists, and SPED Teachers who enjoy providing individualized academic support, collaborating with general education staff, and helping students achieve their IEP goals.

What You'll Do

  • Provide specialized academic instruction to students in a Mild/Moderate RSP setting
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and accommodations
  • Serve as an IEP case manager and maintain required documentation and compliance records
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, parents, and school staff to support student success
  • Adapt instructional materials and strategies to meet diverse learning needs
  • Monitor student progress and communicate updates with families and educational teams
  • Create and maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Active California Education Specialist Instruction Credential with Mild/Moderate authorization or equivalent Special Education authorization
  • Previous experience in an RSP or school-based Special Education setting preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP development, case management, and special education compliance requirements
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

This pay range represents Covelo Group's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors, including experience, qualifications, and location.
