* JOB DUTIES:

* Teach Clinical Laboratory Sciences courses (lectures) to on-campus and distance MS/DCLS students.

*
* ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

*
* Teach Clinical Laboratory Sciences courses (lectures) to on-campus and distance MS/DCLS students.  Specifically, to teach:

+ MSHP 5302 Scientific Writing

+ CLLS 55319 Biostatistics

+ CLLS 6306 Diagnostic Algorithms

+ CLLS 6031 DCLS Seminar 2

+ Develop lesson plans, prepare presentations, and obtain visual aids for on campus and distance web-based courses, grade student papers, and practical examinations.

+ Advise students (both on-campus and distance) on academic and research activities.

+ Participate in scholarly, professional, and administrative service activities.

+ Participate in departmental meetings and committee meetings, and other scholarly activities.

* MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

*
* Applicants must have a doctoral degree in health-related field and three years teaching experience.

* PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

*
* Doctoral degree in health-related field and/or 3 years teaching experience.

* Commensurate with experience.
