Finance Specialist ; Onsite Ob​/Gyn Clinical Support Service - Galveston

Educational Requirements

Associate degree or equivalent and two years related experience required.

Assists with transactional, budget, and analytical support with moderate supervision. Supports preparation of special projects, presentations, and provides technical expertise regarding financial activities.

• Provide transactional and analytical support for assigned functions or departments.
• Support preparation of annual and monthly financial and operational reports for assigned functions or departments.
• Support preparation of presentations and perform ad hoc analysis for management.
• Assist in coordination, preparation and analytical review of the University’s monthly financial report.
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State UT System rules and regulations.
• Provide productivity and metric data for management.
• Provide financial information enabling management to make long‑term and short‑term decisions.
• Adhere to appropriate internal controls for the department; provide mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance.
• Perform related duties as required.

Actual salary commensurate with experience or range if discussed and approved by hiring authority.
