Bank Teller Position

Meador Staffing, an Openwork company, has partnered with a well-known financial institution in search for a bank teller in Galveston! Responsibilities include serving customers, walk-in, and drive-in in a courteous and professional manner by processing a variety of transactions; deposits, withdrawals, checks, money orders, traveler's checks, selling and redeeming bonds; ensuring all necessary information is in place prior to completing transactions.

Additional duties include answering inquiries regarding checking and savings accounts and other bank related products, recording all transactions promptly, accurately and in compliance with bank procedures, assisting and/or supporting other banking centers when needed, processing commercial bags, mail-in deposits, and night drop, balancing cash and checks in cash drawer at end of each shift, verifying all strapped money from money shipment and/or customer deposits, preparing transaction reports on large transactions over $10,000, and processing daily incoming/outgoing collection items.

Experience required includes 1-3 years of experience in banking and 1-2 years of administrative, sales, or customer service experience. The hourly rate is $16.00/hour.

Lobby schedule is Monday
- Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm. Drive-in schedule is Monday
- Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm. Saturday schedule is 9:00am - 12:00pm.
