JOB DESCRIPTIONA Postdoctoral Fellow position is available immediately to investigate host immunity, vaccine immunogenicity/safety and the pathogenesis of biosafety level (BSL) 2 & 3 viruses, including arboviruses and respiratory viruses. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and possess a strong publication record in virology and/or immunology. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Prior experience with mouse models is preferred but not required.
ESSENTIALJOB FUNCTIONS
- Establishes research objectives and methodology, designs procedures, conducts research projects, analyzes, and interprets results.
- Preparation and publication of manuscripts in peer reviewed journals.
- Ensures proper training of Research staff, and other junior researchers.
- Data and Statistical analysis.
- Ability to manage research projects with minimal supervision.
- Writing and presentation skills.
- Problem solving and creativity.
- Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
PhD, MD, or DVM in related field with 0 to 3 years of prior Postdoctoral experience.
SALARYCommensurate with experience using the NIH standard
