EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Five years financial and patient account experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous management or supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in EPIC Prelude or comparable electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Technical knowledge of medical coding, including CPT and ICD-10.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage innovation, automation, and emerging technologies to improve workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective presentation skills with the ability to communicate data and operational insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
To provide managerial guidance to patient account sections and strategic planning, managing, organizing, and coordinating operations in assigned area(s). Designs work process improvements that will result in higher quality and greater efficiency of performance and enhance FTE utilization.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Demonstrated a level of competence and understanding of state and federal laws, rules and regulations regarding Government and Payer guidelines.
- Develops and implements processes, procedures, and standards for maximum efficiency and performance in Revenue Cycle Operations.
- Establishes and monitors staff productivity within assigned areas.
- Analyzes processes and workflows to identify root cause solutions and develop assertive action plans to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
- Provides communication and feedback to upper management/stakeholders regarding section activities through written reports, correspondence and verbal communication.
- Analyzes monthly key indicator data from area of responsibility in order to identify areas of opportunity and impacting trends. Formulates solutions and appropriately escalates identified trends.
- Execute procedural process changes based on identified opportunities.
- Assures accurate and current processes and procedures are maintained within assigned areas.
- Adheres to established policies and procedures.
- Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
- Maintains open and professional communication with internal and external customers, colleagues and vendors.
- Performs related duties as required.
- Standard hospital, clinical, and/or office environments.
- Standard office equipment.
Actual salary commensurate with experience.
WORK SCHEDULEOn-site, full-time, 40 hours per week.
