Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 10-hour shifts (40 hours per week)

• On-call responsibilities 10-14 days per schedule including weekends and holidays

• Weekend call required but regular weekend shifts not required

• 13-week assignment length

• Deliver high-quality patient care and technical expertise for Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology procedures

• Assist with cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures

• Perform emergency interventions as needed under guidance of credentialed invasive cardiologist or electrophysiologist

• Circulate and scrub for procedures including Cath, IR, and EP

• Work with specialized equipment including EPIQ ultrasound machine

• Handle structural heart cases: TAVR, Watchman/Amulet, PFO, Mitral Clip

• Experience with implanted medical devices: PPM, IABP, Defibrillators (ICDs)

• Perform ablation procedures and be proficient with Impella

• Associate of Science degree or completion of Cardiovascular Tech program required

• One year of procedural area experience required

• ARRTR license and Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) through Texas Department of Health required

• BLS/ACLS through American Heart Association certification required

• No guaranteed hours first 2 weeks of contract
