Clinical Research Fellow, Pathology Research

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The Clinical Chemistry Fellowship training program is an accredited one-year or two-year program designed for preparing for a career as a medical director of a clinical chemistry laboratory and leadership positions in industry. There primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, clinical duties during the training are under the direction of the program director. Duties will include rotation in all areas of the Clinical Chemistry Division, plus didactic lectures, journal clubs, DMT and rounds in clinical chemistry.

The fellow will also evaluate and generate reports for all tests that require interpretation prior to review with the director-on Call. In general, the clinical chemistry fellow will take on graduated responsibility, functioning as liaisons between the clinical teams and the chemistry laboratory. The Fellow is encouraged to pursue one or two research projects that will be suitable for publication in a peer-review journal.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• MD, MD/PhD, DO , PhD

SALARY:
Commensurate with experience.
