Shift supervisor, Maintenance​/Cleaning

We are hiring immediately for a full-time SHIFT SUPERVISOR position.

Location:

TAMU - 1001 Texas Clipper Road, Galveston, TX 77554. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule:

Full time schedule;
Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. Full and part time with flexibility.

Requirement:
Prior maintenance experience is required, including lead or supervisory responsibilities.

Pay Range: $19.00 per hour to $21.00 per hour.

Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and ensure assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate employees’ performance, reward high performers and discipline those who fail to meet standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports and ensure unit meets expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Act as contact person for employees with complaints or time‑off requests.
• Mentor employees, develop them and encourage goal setting and advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
