Perform multi-pass, all-position fillet and butt welds using SMAW and GTAW;
Fuse inserts and weld various materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper nickel pipes;
Work in shipboard environments and sub-assemblies, including ladders and staging;
Adhere to OSHA regulations relevant to the shipbuilding industry;
Work in confined spaces on board naval ships and in a shop setting
