Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible forthe following:
Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for supporting the safe execution of block steel and hot outfitting workin accordance withthe company’s overall safety goals,objectives and policies.
Develop andmaintaindetailed shop floor work packages and production schedules for block steel and hot outfitting activities.
Organize and perform
Sequence daily and weekly production work assignments in coordination with the BHOTF Manager and production supervisors.
Track production progress against schedule and flag variances to the BHOTF Manager.
Coordinate material, equipment, andmanpoweravailability against the shop floor plan.
Support customer-furnished material (CFM) tracking, staging, andexpeditingfor block steel and hot outfitting production needs.
Identify and communicate schedule risks, resource conflicts, and production constraints.
Maintainaccurateshop floor planning records and production status reporting.
Coordinate with the COTF Shop Floor Planner on shared resources and sequencing where applicable.
Ensure compliance with Gulf Copper Mission Statement and Quality Management System.
Required
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate’sdegree or technical certification in planning, industrial technology, or related field preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in shipyard or industrial production planning/scheduling.
Familiarity with shipyard steel fabrication and outfitting sequencing preferred.
Working Conditions:
Necessary Equipment Operation:
Computer systems and standard office/scheduling software.
Shipyard production management and planning systems.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) required when on the production floor.
