Hospitality Health ER is seeking a confident, clinically sharp Clinical Communications Nurse (LVN/RN) to serve as the vital link between patients, providers, and the emergency care team. This role is responsible for managing post-visit patient communications, triaging incoming calls, handling complaints and inquiries, and providing excellent follow-up care while maintaining strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced environment.
This is a high-impact position for a nurse who can command the phones, advocate for patients, and flex into direct ER support when needed.

Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary post-visit contact for patients, providing recovery guidance and ensuring excellent patient experience
- Manage and triage all incoming nurse calls, messages, and patient concerns during your shift
- Handle patient complaints, billing inquiries, and medical questions with professionalism and compassion
- Track concerns, identify service issues, and advocate for timely interventions
- Collaborate with the ER team by jumping in on triage, discharge, or medication administration as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all communications and clinical notes
- Navigate complex situations involving patients, families, and medical staff
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and uphold a patient-first standard
- Achieve full ownership of shift communications and patient follow-up within 60 days
- Consistently demonstrate strong clinical judgment and de‑escalation on calls
- Improve patient satisfaction through proactive outreach and issue resolution
- Seamlessly integrate with the ER clinical team during peak times
- Active LVN or RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- Previous clinical experience in emergency care, acute care, or similar fast‑paced settings preferred
- Strong phone presence and professional communication skills
- Ability to handle high-volume, high-stress environments
- Comfort with escalated calls and complex family dynamics
- Flexibility for non‑traditional scheduling including nights and weekends
- A clinically confident nurse with a strong voice and backbone
- Someone who can advocate hard for patients while remaining professional
- A proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast‑paced ER support role
