Postdoctoral Fellow Position

The postdoctoral fellow will conduct, report and present research in his/her field of study under the supervision of a faculty mentor. This is a full-time (40 hours) postdoctoral position to investigate cellular, molecular, and epigenetic mechanisms of gut inflammation, fibrosis, and tissue remodeling in Crohn's disease in an NIH supported program.

The Postdoctoral Fellow will play a critical role in our team to investigate the cellular, molecular and epigenetic mechanisms of gut inflammation, fibrosis and tissue remodeling in Crohn's disease in an NIH supported program. Specific duties include molecular and epigenetic studies, single cell sequencing, flow cytometry, and physiological studies in intestinal tissues, cultured cells, and microbiome. He or she may be also involved in studies in animals with genetic manipulations or pharmacological treatments.

Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent. Scientific research experience in related areas.

Strong bench skills in modern cell and molecular biology, immunology or epigenetics.

Motivated and talented candidates with experiences in gut inflammation, immunology and microbiology are strongly desirable.

Commensurate with experience.
