This is a full-time, on-site Automotive Sales Associate role based in Galveston, TX. The Automotive Sales Associate will greet and engage guests, identify their vehicle needs, and provide knowledgeable guidance on available new and pre-owned inventory. Daily responsibilities include conducting test drives, explaining vehicle features and pricing, preparing purchase and lease proposals, and supporting guests through financing and paperwork. The role involves following up with prospective and existing customers to build long-term relationships and encourage repeat business.
The Automotive Sales Associate will also maintain product knowledge, keep the showroom and lot organized, and uphold Classic Auto Group Galveston's transparent, no-gimmick sales standards.
- Demonstrated skills in Sales Consulting and Automotive Sales, with the ability to guide guests through the full sales process.
- Strong focus on Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, ensuring a positive and transparent experience for every guest.
- Experience with Customer Retention, including follow-up communication and relationship building to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain vehicle features, pricing, and terms clearly.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, on-site retail environment and collaborating with team members across departments.
- Basic computer proficiency for CRM systems, email, and digital sales tools; familiarity with dealership software is a plus.
- Prior automotive sales or retail sales experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in sales or business is beneficial.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and ability to conduct test drives safely.
