Licensed Plumber

Overview

Signing Bonus: $2,000 (paid in three installments)

Commissioned earnings: $70,000–$80,000 per year. Company matching 401(k) at 6%.

We are looking for a licensed plumber to provide wide-ranging plumbing services and sales to our customers.

• Respond promptly to customer service calls, conduct thorough inspections, accurately diagnose problems, offer effective solutions and estimates, and successfully close service sales.
• Install and repair various plumbing fixtures including sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners.
• Conduct sewer and drain cleaning services in diverse environments such as basements, roofs, confined spaces, and close quarters, ensuring thorough cleaning and restoration of work sites to pre‑job conditions.
• Prepare invoices, totaling costs of services/products provided; collect payment and explain the Roto‑Rooter guarantee.
• Collect payment and move on to the next service call.

• A valid driver’s license.
• State plumbing license.
• Three or more years of repair and service plumbing experience with a proven track record in sales of plumbing products and services.
• Full knowledge of plumbing systems.
• Obtain Excavation Certification through Competent Person Training (OSHA) within the first year of employment.
• Journeyman license or equivalent certification as required by state law.
• Good written and oral communication skills for effective customer service and strong interpersonal skills with clients and co‑workers.
