City of Galveston is hiring a Traffic Technician Trainee to support the Traffic Division of the Public Works Department. The role involves installing and maintaining traffic signs and pavement markings, and providing traffic control for events and projects citywide.
Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience; a Texas Driver’s License is required with the possibility to obtain a work zone/flagger certification within six months of hire.
