FieldService Technician - Arcade & Amusement Equipment About
The Role
One Source Amusement is seeking a Field Service Technician to support our growing operations in Galveston. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing arcade and amusement equipment at client locations such as movie theaters, hotels, and entertainment venues, Cruise Ships. This is a hands‑on position ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving technical problems, and working independently in the field.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Install, maintain, and repair arcade and amusement machines at client locations
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues including wiring, sensors, and component replacements
- Perform preventative maintenance to keep machines fully operational
- Assist with installing new equipment and game conversions when needed
- Refill prize merchandise and maintain redemption inventory
- Collect cash and coin from machines and deposit funds at a designated local bank
- Complete service logs and communicate equipment issues to management
- Maintain clean, secure, and professional machine installations
- Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with venue staff or guests
- 2+ years of mechanical, electrical, or electro‑mechanical repair experience (arcade, vending, Casino Tech, or similar equipment)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving ability
- Ability to work independently and manage service routes
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical service work
- Strong organization, communication, and follow‑through
