Hotel Transportation

JOB SUMMARY:

Transportation will ensure safe and informative transportation to and from various attractions on and off Moody Gardens’ property.

POSITION AUTHORITY:

The incumbent is authorized to take reasonable action necessary to carry out assigned duties and responsibilities, provided such action is consistent with position guidelines as outlined below.

POSITION GUIDELINES:

Position guidelines include, but are not limited to, established company and department policies and procedures and all supervisory directives. The incumbent is expected to exercise sound, reasonable judgment and initiative, and give high priority to accuracy and details in the performance of job responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Greet all guests in a friendly and positive manner

Ensure guest satisfaction

Maintain cleanliness of tram/bus that is assigned that day Circle parking lots to transport guest and employees to various attraction destinations

Assist with special event transportation as required

Report mechanical problems to Manager and/or Maintenance Department Maintain a neat and positive appearance

Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of all Moody Gardens amenities and events

Answer all inquiries with courtesy, knowledge and respect for all guests, employees and supervisors

Observe and follow all company policies, procedures and safety rules

Any and all other duties as assigned; duties are subject to change as management deems necessary to best serve the needs of Moody Gardens Must be flexible-will work different shifts; included weekends, HolidaysEDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a valid DL

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Must be reliable and responsible

Must have a flexible Schedule

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to sit for long periods of time
