Shape the narrative on CBC’s Newfoundland Morning Show as a Reporter Editor in Gander. Engage audiences daily with live broadcasts, audio storytelling, and community highlights.

In your permanent role at CBC/Radio-Canada, you will be the vibrant voice that informs and entertains. You will pursue creative story ideas, conduct impactful interviews, and develop content that speaks to underrepresented communities across the region.

Your role includes timely responses to breaking news and collaboration with the morning team to elevate viewer connections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging live interviews throughout the morning

• Produce compelling audio content for air

• Gather video footage for network platforms

• Work closely with colleagues on story coordination

• Focus on engagement with youth and diverse groups

Requirements:

• Preferred three years of relevant experience

• Strong news judgment under pressure

• Exceptional audio gathering and editing skills

• Understanding of CBC’s digital and broadcast platforms

• Valid driver's license meeting CBC insurance standards
