This is a part-time position and involves the responsibility of maintaining police records, transcribing incident reports, and the security of the department’s property and evidence room. Record maintenance, transcription, data entry, and customer service skills are duties performed that may require independent judgment in completing tasks. Duties are usually repetitive and routine in nature.
