Location: Garden City, GA
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Shift: Monday – Friday 3:00pm – 11:30pm

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
Experience Requirements
  • Experience inspecting manufactured products using established quality standards and specifications.
  • Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, or inspection documents.
  • Knowledge of precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring devices.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and document inspection results accurately.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Job Duties
  • Inspect and verify inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy
  • Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through regular verification processes
  • Assist with shipping and receiving operations
  • Perform order picking, pallet building, loading, and unloading as needed
  • Support general warehouse operations and perform all General Labor duties as assigned
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Work with team members to meet daily productivity and customer service goals
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous quality inspection, quality assurance, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred.
  • Technical training in manufacturing, quality assurance, or inspection procedures is beneficial.
  • Experience performing first article, in-process, or final product inspections is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards, statistical process control, quality documentation, or corrective action procedures is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate accuracy, professionalism, and a commitment to producing high-quality work are well positioned for success as a Quality Inspector.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspection activities throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment with accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain visual focus and attention to detail while inspecting products in manufacturing or warehouse environments.

What You Will Do

As a Quality Inspector you will inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and engineering specifications. You will use precision measuring equipment, document inspection results, identify nonconforming materials, support corrective actions, and help maintain quality records while promoting safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

The Quality Inspector supports manufacturing quality by inspecting products throughout the production process to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards. This role requires careful observation, attention to detail, and strong documentation skills.

A successful Quality Inspector understands quality systems, inspection methods, measuring equipment, and manufacturing processes while helping prevent defects and improve product consistency. Reliable inspection practices contribute directly to customer satisfaction.
