The Clamp Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently loading, unloading, and transporting products within the warehouse using a clamp lift truck. This role involves handling freight from trailers and shipping containers while ensuring product integrity, maintaining inventory accuracy, and following all safety and operational procedures. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong equipment operation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment to support shipping, receiving, and distribution operations.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse or powered industrial equipment training is beneficial.
• High School or equivalent required

• Experience operating clamp truck equipment or similar powered industrial vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Ability to transport large rolls, pallets, or specialized materials without product damage.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures, equipment inspections, and load handling practices.
• Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and warehouse locations.
• Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety.
• Must be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks and banding/shrink wrap material
• Experience using a RF scan gun required
• Previous forklift certifications preferred
• Must be able to work overtime as needed, occasional weekends
• Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions well
• Must have the ability to work well with others
• High attention to detail required
• Must have the ability to work well with others with little supervision

• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or paper products industry experience is preferred.
• Experience operating clamp trucks, forklifts, RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is beneficial.
• Knowledge of inventory control, shipping, receiving, material handling, or Lean warehouse practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, productivity, teamwork, and careful material handling are well positioned for success as a Sit Down Clamp Operator.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred - 1 year experience

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physically active warehouse work throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds as required.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment while maintaining awareness of surrounding warehouse traffic.
• Ability to work in fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environments while following established safety procedures.
• This position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• Position requires employees to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, reach, bend and lift objects above their head.
