Forklift Operator
Location: Garden City, GA
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Start Time: 6:55 AM – End time based on daily production needs
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to become part of our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift and other material‑handling equipment while moving and positioning products throughout the facility.
This is a fast‑paced work environment where safety, productivity, teamwork, and dependability are essential. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on forklift experience and be comfortable working in a warehouse or distribution setting.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts safely to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.
Load and unload trailers while preventing damage to products and equipment.
Move, stage, and properly store inventory in assigned areas.
Retrieve and transport products to support daily orders and production needs.
Complete required equipment safety checks before operating machinery.
Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or damaged materials to a supervisor.
Ensure products are placed correctly and assist with inventory accuracy.
Use scanners, labels, and other warehouse tools as needed.
Follow all safety rules, company procedures, and facility guidelines.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
Work with supervisors and coworkers to complete daily production and shipping goals.
Previous forklift experience is required.
Warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution experience is a plus.
Ability to safely handle and transport different types and sizes of materials.
Strong attention to detail and a safety‑first mindset.
Ability to follow instructions and company procedures.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment.
$18.00 per hour
Monday–Friday schedule
