To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning. Coordinate and support school-wide Title I program including identifying, developing, and implementing plans and strategies for initiating, sustaining, and improving Title I programming and initiatives, collaborating with administrators to build staffs' capacity to ensure meaningful experiences in Title I education for scholars, providing professional learning, resources, and support to staff in the implementation of Title I services, programming, curriculum and instruction, researching, examining, and making recommendations on current and emerging Title I practices, monitoring the fidelity of Title I program implementation;
facilitate and support teacher collaboration in the development and implementation of Title I instruction; make appropriate and equitable use of district and Title I resources and technologies; implement the goals and objectives of the district, school, program or department for which employed; maintain contact and communication with staff, administrators, scholars, guardians/caregivers and community, state, and federal agencies; collaborate within and across departments, programs, and sites;
provide in-person, synchronous, learning and support when applicable; participate in district, building, and department leadership activities. Ability to be flexible with work hours to meet the needs of the program, building and/or district at the discretion of the supervisor.
- In collaboration with the Equity and Achievement Leadership team, develop and implement develop and implement strategic directives identified in the 3 Year Operations Plan and the School Wide Title One Plan
- Maintain data base of students receiving Title One services; including interventions/supports and students exiting Title One services.
- Provide and/or identify training and support on specific interventions for teachers and ESP's.
- In collaboration with building principal, Title One Team, Instructional Assistant, and Resource Manager create and manage schedules for School Wide Title One.
- Follow federal and district requirements outlined by the Osseo Area Schools Director Title One Services
- Other duties as assigned by building principal
Minimum Qualifications
- MN teaching license in appropriate field, OR a valid MN teaching license in another field and willing to obtain an Out of Field Permission.
- If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or 2.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal with all stakeholders
- Experience working with racially and culturally diverse students and families.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Experience and knowledge with:
- Minnesota State Standards
- General education curriculum, instruction, and assessment
- MTSS model
- Reading and math interventions
- Experience leading staff development
- Ability to train, model, and coach with teachers and ESPs in Tier 2 interventions
- Ability to provide effective direction instruction to students in reading and math
- Ability to collect, organize, analyze and share data with different stakeholder groups
- Exemplary classroom management and organization.
