Full‑Time Surgical Coordinator – Garden City

ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA) and Hümi, one of the nation’s largest ENT, Allergy, and Audiology medical practices, is seeking a Full‑Time Surgical Coordinator for our Garden City office. Hourly rate: $25/hr the Surgical Coordinator is responsible for scheduling all surgeries for the physicians in the office and reports directly to the Practice Site Administrator.

• Schedule all hospital and some in‑office surgeries.
• Communicate with hospitals to perform all necessary pre‑operative requirements.
• Contact patients to explain responsibilities and all necessary pre‑operative and post‑operative requirements.
• Administer surgical prep packets to patients containing all required paperwork to be completed prior to surgery.
• Precertify all surgical procedures with the appropriate insurance company verifying eligibility, deductibles, and co‑pays.

• Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Epic experience is a plus.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must have experience in the medical field and knowledge of medical insurance.
• Must have excellent communication and follow‑up skills.

• Monday: 8:00am–4:30pm
• Tuesday: 8:00am–4:30pm
• Wednesday: 8:00am–4:30pm
• Thursday: 8:00am–4:30pm
• Friday: 8:00am–4:30pm
