Sales Representative, Business Development, Commission Sales, Sales Development Rep/SDR
Boise, Idaho
Employee Position | Fixed Compensation + Production-Based Earnings
Offer Now Idaho has an opening for an accomplished salesperson to join our Boise team and work directly with property owners throughout Southwest Idaho.
The simplest way to describe the position is this:
We create homeowner opportunities. You turn those opportunities into transactions.
Our advertising brings property owners to us. From there, you'll take responsibility for the relationship. You'll visit the property, sit down with the owner, learn what's driving their decision, determine whether we can help, and work toward terms that both sides can agree to.
This is a local, in-person sales career for someone who enjoys the challenge of getting a deal across the finish line.
Where You'll Spend Your TimeYour calendar will consist primarily of scheduled property visits and conversations with existing prospects.
During those conversations, you'll need to quickly understand both the property and the person sitting across from you.
Why are they considering a move?
What problem are they actually trying to solve?
What matters most in their decision?
What is preventing them from moving forward?
Your ability to uncover those answers will determine your success.
From there, you'll develop an appropriate purchasing solution, explain it clearly, address concerns, negotiate the details, and ask for a decision.
When an owner isn't ready, the conversation doesn't necessarily end.
You'll remain responsible for staying connected and continuing to work viable opportunities until they sell, choose another direction, or are no longer a fit.
The Background That Gets Our AttentionWe're open to candidates from many industries.
What gets our attention is evidence that you've previously succeeded in a role where your paycheck depended heavily on your ability to persuade, negotiate, and close.
Maybe you've sold home services.
Maybe you've worked in automotive.
Maybe your background is construction, remodeling, insurance, financial services, or another commission-heavy industry.
We're far less concerned with whether you've sold houses before.
We care whether you've learned how to sell.
You should know how to establish credibility with a stranger, uncover the real issue behind a buying or selling decision, discuss money comfortably, respond when someone pushes back, negotiate without destroying the relationship, and directly ask for someone's business.
Those are skills we expect you to bring with you.
We'll teach you the specifics of our model.
The NumbersYour earnings combine guaranteed compensation with production-based pay and additional incentives. There is upside potential on the variable portion of the compensation plan.
Our strongest producers have the ability to generate more than $200,000 in annual compensation.
New hires can also qualify for an additional $20K accelerated-production award by reaching $300,000 in gross profit before completing their sixth month.
A draw is available under the compensation plan.
The company also offers PTO without a preset annual limit and access to healthcare coverage, including dental and vision plans.
What Offer Now Idaho HandlesFinding potential sellers isn't your assignment.
Our company invests in advertising and lead generation to bring homeowner opportunities into the business.
That means you aren't being hired to spend your week walking neighborhoods or searching for strangers to call.
Instead, you'll inherit opportunities that already exist and be expected to make the most of them.
You'll also have internal resources available when a property requires a solution beyond the obvious answer.
What You'll Be Accountable ForYour results begin with the appointments assigned to you and continue through the final agreement.
You'll be expected to prepare before meeting a seller, arrive professionally, understand the property and circumstances, identify possible solutions, communicate those options effectively, negotiate the economics of the transaction, document important information, and stay engaged with prospects who require additional time.
You'll manage your own active pipeline and be responsible for keeping opportunities from falling through the cracks.
Ultimately, the scoreboard is straightforward:
Can you consistently turn homeowner conversations into profitable signed agreements?
The Working EnvironmentWe give salespeople room to perform.
With that independence comes accountability.
This isn't an environment where activity alone is…
