This is a civilian position that will exercise a high degree of discretion, trust, and confidentiality. The duties involve data entry, records management, evidence control, and varied clerical duties. Must exercise considerable judgment, initiative, and skill in a variety of situations, and must be able to work independently. Provides administrative and support services to the Police Chief, serves as the records and evidence technician, supports officers, and serves in a position to support the customer service function for the department.
The technician will also work with town administrative staff to complete required functions between departments.
