Floating:
Required across all ERs in Zone 4 (Garden City, Dodge City, Ulysses)

Beds:
Varies by location | Patient Ratios: 1:4-5 (based on acuity)

Trauma/

Certifications:

Non-trauma ERs; STEMI/Stroke send outs

Required

Certifications:

ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS

Patient Types:
Abdominal pain, DM, NSTEMI, pneumonia, trauma, stroke, HTN

Skills:

ER experience preferred; must perform triage, lab draws, point-of-care testing; interpret tele monitors, X‑ray/CT transport

Support Staff:
Techs assist nurses, triage, and unit secretary duties; RT 24/7

Dress Code:
Navy blue scrubs

Orientation: 2‑3 days; must be in‑state for week of orientation

Radius/Location Requirements:
Candidates must live 60+ miles from facilities; DL required; no home base facility

Weekend/Holiday:
Every other; schedule may vary

Other:
First float assignment provided on or before Monday start
