We are seeking a skilled LPN nurse to provide occupational health services for our manufacturing facility. The Industrial Nurse will be responsible for managing workplace injuries and illnesses, promoting employee health and safety, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting our workforce in maintaining optimal health and productivity.
Schedule:Monday – Friday, Day Shift Responsibilities
- Provide immediate first aid and medical treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Assess injuries to determine appropriate treatment, referral to outside medical care, or emergency response.
- Support workers’ compensation team from initial injury through return-to-work.
- Conduct follow-up care and monitor healing process for injured employees.
- Keep supplies stocked, organized and compliant.
- May participate in review and investigation reporting.
- Conduct pre-employment physicals and drug screening, fit-for-duty evaluations, and return-to-work assessments.
- Perform health screenings including respirator fit testing, hearing conservation, flu shots and other related programs.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and company policies.
- Complete and maintain OSHA logs and required injury/illness documentation.
- Collaborate with safety team to identify workplace hazards and implement preventative measures.

- Must have regular and punctual attendance.
Skills and Abilities
- Current LPN license in the state of Kansas.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communications skills with all levels of employees.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with diverse employee populations.
- Vital signs assessment and interpretation.
- Recognizing signs of medical emergencies and coordinating proper response.
- Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying noise levels and temperatures.
Current LPN license in state of Kansas required;
Registered Nurse in the state of Kansas highly desirable, occupational health or emergency/urgent care preferred.
Certified in Basic Life Support and CPR.
