You must have an active Kansas RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and at least one to two years of recent labor and delivery experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are recommended. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, proficiency in fetal monitoring, and strong communication and problem‑solving skills are valuable for success in this role.
