Job Description:

The RN in the Tele Float Pool will provide nursing care across multiple units within Zone 4, which includes facilities in Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital, St. Catherine-Dodge City, and St. Catherine-Garden City. The nurse will be required to float to different units as needed and manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6 based on acuity. Scheduled shifts are typically 12-hour nights, with a requirement of 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitoring patient health and communicating with multidisciplinary teams
• Participating in patient and family education
• Managing care and treatment plans

Requirements:

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of MS-Tele experience in the last 3 years
• Ability to float to different facilities within Zone 4
• Preferred experience with Alaris and EPIC systems
