Job Description:

The ER Float Pool RN will be responsible for providing emergency nursing care in a variety of settings within Zone 4, which includes Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital, St. Catherine
- Dodge City, and St. Catherine
- Garden City. The RN will be required to float within this 60-mile radius and adapt to different emergency department environments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients with common diagnoses such as abdominal pain, NSTEMI, pneumonia, stroke, trauma, and hypertension.
• Manage nurse-patient ratios of 1:4-5 based on acuity.
• Assist with Point of Care lab testing and standard ER medication drips.
• Float between assigned hospitals within Zone 4 as needed.

Requirements:

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications are required.
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry without a monitor tech available.
• Availability for 12-hour night shifts, with every other weekend and holiday if scheduled.
• Must have the flexibility to float within the region's ERs as required.
