Registered Nurse (RN) Infusion Therapy

Our client, a leading health system in Garden City, KS, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Infusion Therapy department. This full-time position involves providing compassionate care and collaborating with the healthcare team to meet the needs of patients and their families.

• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and review of medical records.
• Evaluate patients' responses and intervene to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in various therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections.
• Maintain thorough and confidential patient charts and records.
• Document ongoing status, interventions, patient responses, and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Use information technology to communicate and support decision-making.
• Advocate for and collaborate to protect the health, safety, and rights of each patient.
• Provide patient and family education based on assessed learning readiness and needs.

• Required:
  
  Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma; RN License in the state of employment.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; one year of experience; PICC or Ultrasound Guided IV (USGPIV) certification.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Medium Work exert/lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 20 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly.

• Full-time position with a variable weekly schedule.
• Shift: Varies.

• $26.95 - $42.99/hour
