* Key Responsibilities:

* ** Daily Scheduling:
** Develop and manage efficient bus routes and schedules, ensuring on-time student pick-up and drop-off.
* ** Driver Coordination:
** Serve as the primary contact for bus drivers, communicating route updates and navigating traffic or weather-related issues.
* ** Emergency Response:
** Handle transportation emergencies such as accidents or delays, dispatching assistance promptly and informing relevant stakeholders.
* ** Communication:
** Maintain clear and consistent communication with drivers, school officials, and parents to address any concerns or changes.
* ** Fleet Monitoring:
** Use GPS and dispatch software to track bus locations, ensuring adherence to routes and schedules.
* ** Regulatory Compliance:
** Ensure all transportation operations comply with relevant student transportation regulations.
* ** Record Keeping:
** Accurately document routes, driver assignments, and any incidents for reporting and analysis.
* ** Continuous Improvement:
** Work with transportation managers to enhance routing efficiency and safety procedures.

* Qualifications:

*** Proven experience in dispatching or a related field is preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and dispatch software.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred to effectively communicate with families, drivers, and staff.
