Merriman Road Baptist Church is searching for a Pastor to Students for the 7-12 graders of our church. The Pastor to Students takes responsibility for leading a comprehensive ministry that balances reaching students with the gospel of Christ and discipling students to grow in Christ. This ministry includes leading and coordinating other volunteer leaders to help in the same effort.

Candidates must demonstrate a clear calling to youth ministry, be experienced ministry leaders and have preparation in biblical studies and church leadership. The candidate must have a strong and growing personal walk with the Lord and meet the qualifications of pastoral leadership as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9.

Responsibilities include personally teaching Bible lessons, coordinating student life groups, Bible study, prayer and worship times, fellowship gatherings, mission opportunities, and camps/retreats. The Pastor to Students should also expect to communicate and work regularly together with other church staff, leaders, parents, community members, schools and other youth organizations.

Compensation package includes salary and housing and is based on a part-time position of 20-25 hours per week.
