The Invoicing Account (Business Services) is a long-term opportunity with our New York based client in the Education sector. The right candidate will be responsible for supporting customer accounts and invoicing functions by working with various vendors and customers ensuring accurate information. This contract-to-hire role will offer the opportunity to grow and thrive, as well as the chance to convert to a permanent, salaried employee in a highly sought after state role with excellent benefits including a pension.

The role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, excellent collaboration and customer service skills. It also has an amazing work-life balance as most full-time workers have 35-hour work weeks. Contract Duration: 6 Months initially with 12-month extension(s) expected (until eventual conversion to permanent as the long-term goal).

Required

Skills & Experience:

• Invoicing
• Account Reconciliation
• Excel – very familiar with simple spreadsheets
• Ability to work with multiple software applications
• Ability to work with customers and vendors
• Detail Oriented

Desired

Skills & Experience:

• Working with multiple/various software applications including invoicing software.
• Quick Base experience or exposure (not required but nice to have) – we can train on that as it's only used on a limited basis.
• People Soft experience or exposure (not required but nice to have) – we can train on that as it's only used on a limited basis.

What You Will Be Doing:

• This right candidate will have excellent communication skills and get to work with vendors and various school districts.

• Homegrown Application based on Quickbase
• Peoplesoft (small percentage)
